EXPERIENTIAL GROUP INTENSIVES

A deeper therapeutic experience for those feeling stuck, ready for change, or longing for deeper healing.

The Format

Group intensives are immersive therapy experiences designed to help participants move beyond surface-level insight and engage more deeply in their personal growth and healing. Through a combination of experiential work, guided processing, and relational support, participants are given the opportunity to explore their stories in a meaningful and transformative way.

At Nashville Counseling Associates, our group intensives are intentionally designed to create emotional safety, connection, and depth. Each participant is supported not only by experienced therapists, but also by the shared presence and encouragement of the group. Many people find that the intensive format allows them to access movement and breakthroughs that can feel more difficult in traditional weekly therapy.

Because intensives involve several consecutive days of focused therapeutic work, they can be especially beneficial for individuals who feel emotionally “stuck,” are navigating unresolved pain or relational patterns, or are looking for a meaningful next step in their healing journey.

Our Approach

Our intensives are experiential and relational in nature, meaning participants are encouraged to engage not only intellectually, but emotionally and relationally as well.

Therapy is facilitated in a supportive environment where participants can process their experiences honestly, receive feedback and support, and explore new ways of relating to themselves and others.

Group intensives are co-led by experienced therapists who guide the process with care, structure, and compassion. Current intensives are led by Ali Hettinger, MA, LPC, Experiential Therapist, and Kristi Marshall, PhD, LPC-MHSP, State of Tennessee Approved Supervisor.
