Heather Rector, LMFT
Therapist
Heather works with adults, couples, and families who feel stuck in patterns they can’t quite break—whether related to narcissistic abuse, ADHD, divorce, or ongoing relationship tension. She integrates approaches such as EMDR and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to support deeper processing, healing, and meaningful change. Heather’s style is warm, honest, and collaborative; she helps clients slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and gently challenge patterns while ensuring they feel safe and supported.

Heather is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is especially passionate about helping couples understand their relational cycles and the attachment dynamics that shape how they connect and disconnect. She believes that even in life’s more difficult seasons, meaningful change is possible with the right support and a willingness to engage in the work.

Outside of the therapy room, Heather enjoys cooking, being in community, and spending time outdoors with her Labradoodle.
