Leia Feazel, Graduate-Level Intern
Leia believes therapy should be a place where clients feel comfortable being themselves, heard, and accepted without judgment. She is especially interested in how our relationships, families, and life experiences shape who we are and how we connect with others.
Leia works with individuals, couples, and families and is developing experience in approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She hopes to provide a space where clients can better understand themselves and their relationships, work through difficult seasons, and discover a path forward that feels right for them.
Leia is a Marriage and Family Therapy graduate student at Trevecca Nazarene University. After nearly 20 years in corporate communications, marketing, and client relationship management, Leia is following what has always been her true passion: becoming a therapist. While her professional career gave her a strong foundation in communication, building meaningful relationships, listening, and connecting with people from all walks of life, she has long felt called to work with people in a deeper and more meaningful way.
Outside of therapy and her studies, Leia enjoys playing tennis, spending time with her husband and son, and gathering with friends and family.
She receives clinical support and supervision through Trevecca Nazarene University and Kristi Marshall, PhD, LPC-MHSP.
