Olivia Brooks, AMFT

Therapist

Olivia works with high-achieving individuals and couples who appear successful on the outside but feel stuck internally—caught in cycles of overthinking, self-criticism, and emotional burnout. Using approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Gottman Method techniques, she helps clients better understand themselves, their patterns, and their relationships. Her approach is tailored and collaborative, drawing from a range of tools to meet each client’s unique goals and personality, while offering structure, insight, and gentle challenge along the way.

Olivia is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who believes therapy should feel relevant, effective, and aligned with what clients truly want for their lives. Clients often describe her style as direct, observant, and refreshingly honest, while still warm, collaborative, and human. She is especially passionate about helping couples improve communication, reconnect, and feel like they are on the same team again, as well as supporting individuals in setting boundaries, speaking up for themselves, and living in alignment with their values.

Outside of the therapy room, Olivia is drawn to a rhythm of slow living. She enjoys sewing, reading, and recreating favorite restaurant dishes at home, finding meaning in simple, intentional moments. She also cherishes time with her partner and child, often settling into her hobbies in the quiet, slower pace of the evening after bedtime.
