EMDR therapy helps your brain process unresolved trauma and/or distressing events and allows normal healing to resume. Maribeth also utilizes Emotional Freedom Techniques (also known as Tapping) and Ego State therapy as other important modalities during therapy sessions. She also has additional training in Trauma Focused CBT, CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Play Therapy.

Maribeth Gambill is an approved supervisor by the state of Tennessee for Social Work Supervision.

“Each of you has a story to tell. I’m humbled when clients choose me to be the person to whom they entrust their story. I feel immense pride for my clients when they are able to make the connections of how their past story impacts their current story. This is commonly done through targeting memories, thoughts, emotions and body sensations. Once you are able to identify and work through your past and present, the possibilities for the future are endless. I would be so honored to be a partner with you in your story of hope and healing.”

Maribeth loves spending time with her husband and two very active children. She also finds her peace gardening, doing yard work, home improvement projects, and being on the lake or hiking. You can also find her browsing the isles of Target and Home Goods.
