Samara Silvester

Samara holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Vanderbilt University. She is trained in EMDR and has completed Level 3 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, an approach based upon over 30 years of research. Samara works with adults and couples, helping her clients navigate their life experiences and relationships with hope, deepened insight, and the skills necessary to fully engage and thrive.

“I am honored to join my clients on their unique journeys, offering a safe holding environment to facilitate connection, healing, and growth. I favor a client-centered and integrative approach, providing empathy and unconditional positive regard as clients navigate a variety of concerns. I am passionate in my commitment to walk alongside clients as they develop the skills to foster more authentic and meaningful connections with both self and others.”

“There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow, so today is the right day to love, believe, do and mostly live.”

 ~ Dalai Lama

In her free time, Samara enjoys spending time with her children, traveling with her husband, and being involved in her community.

Samara is currently fulfilling the Tennessee licensure requirement of post-master’s supervision and is receiving supervision from Dr. Kristi Marshall, LPC-MHSP.
